Really enjoying your site and your writing!
One side of my Family - The YOUDs - were Collie people : Great Grandparents came around 1900 (from Victoria but VIA Albany, and originally from Staffordshire), and were more Railway and Poultry Farm workers, I think. My Mum and her sister always talked in glowing terms of the holidays spent in Collie in the 1920s and 30s......

Hi Jim,
Just a quick message to say that I'm really enjoying reading your stories. It brings back fond memories of my childhood growing up at Muja and my days fishing and marroning at the river at Bucks. Have they ever been published in a book, That would be great as I would defiantly like a copy.

We met Brett on the Busselton jetty while scuba diving. He was catching squid and was more than happy to share some of his stories. It?s was so good to hear and he was very friendly. A huge congrats to Brett and his family on the new arrival.

Reading your story was great.
It made me smile, laugh and even a little sad.
I love hearing people's recounts of times passed and how things were in the younger years of the south west.
Thanks for sharing. :)
